4 days of exploring creativity at Whispering Pines
I developed this website to share my artistic journey, creative process, and body of work with a broader audience. Through my art, I hope to bring joy to others and inspire them to pursue their own passions and dreams.
I love experimenting with all mediums, but currently, I am obsessed with oil paints. I love how flexible it is. I can make it thin and transparent or spread it on thick with a knife depending on what I need in that moment. I am constantly looking at how the light hits an object and how that creates different colors and casts the opposite
I love experimenting with all mediums, but currently, I am obsessed with oil paints. I love how flexible it is. I can make it thin and transparent or spread it on thick with a knife depending on what I need in that moment. I am constantly looking at how the light hits an object and how that creates different colors and casts the opposite in its shadow. I paint in layers working from the background to the foreground, from light to dark, finding interest in the contrasting complimentary colors. Every layer requires more detail and more investigative experimentation.
I draw inspiration from the world around me, fueled by a deep love of travel and exploration. I am continually in search of moments of awe—that sense of childlike wonder and excitement sparked by new experiences. My work aims to capture and recreate that feeling. Each painting represents a specific moment, place, and time, but more import

I am continually in search of moments of awe—that sense of childlike wonder and excitement sparked by new experiences. My work aims to capture and recreate that feeling. Each painting represents a specific moment, place, and time, but more importantly, the colors I choose reflect the emotions I felt in that experience.
